Construction: Features microfibers in the core which are encased in dense larger set of outer fibers. An additional spiraling wrap is added for durability and control. Finally the string is coated with a pearlized abrasion-resistant resin. Flexel offers great value in a micro-multifilament tennis string. Advantage: Advanced micro-multifilament that provides the player gut-like feel but the extended playability of nylon, and the pearlized coating enhance the durability. This string provides a good compromise between power and control. Alpha Flexel is an excellent, choice for tennis players who suffer from elbow or shoulder tenderness. A nice choice for a strong player who wants better control then they get with a synthetic gut. The price/performance is great. Spin potential is normal, while the string provides very good feedback. However you should string it a bit tighter because it loses its tension quickly.
